  Zoom Player is nice and very good player for using zipped files and folders If you want to play or view your files without you unzipped them. I like to zip my files in order to easily organize and backup and also save some free space on hard drive.
  You can get it with discount sale price if you like purchasing new things on your Steam profile. And also I like easy setup and easy installing process of Steam. I also want to see free lifetime upgrades, editions, new functions, abilities and more.. I just wasted $30 on this, runs only a few formats that I can't seem to find or convert my videos into but on the bright side found freeware that works even better while searching,
  
  Uninstall and never look back. Bought it a few years ago, it's telling me now that it only is a trial version and wants to push me to buy an upgrade. Can use it only for 30 days now. I have stopped using it now because of that.. have most player need to play a video\/audio with codec & update download manager built in. dont have to download some stupid codec pack anymore. This player in no way can replace or improve the functionality and library control of JRIVER even MPC .... codec control sucks.. does not work properly or is just outright missing ... for playback of PASS-THROUGH M2TS files or lossless .iso image files of my HD collection. And even in the mess of the program, It does do this, then it in no way makes anything any easier like it said it does.... Oh stop using multiple programs to run music and movies and photos... Get it all under one roof....HA!.... i;M GOING TO BE STICKING WITH MPC (FREE) AND JRIVER $99 superior audio playback and organization with all codecs for serious digital lossless media libraries....mine going over 1300 movie titles blu ray and better and 30k plus audio lossless tracks .. a solid program with great library layout is paramount.... this is not

In this version, the media library's TV jukebox mode now shows the episode's last play position right on the thumbnail, the native (and customizable) Windows 10 media library folders are now automatically accessible and finally, fullscreen navigation on 2K/4K screens is automatically set for high performance text anti-aliasing, fixing slow navigation introduced by a change in how Windows 10 creators edition renders high resolution text.
  
  Optimized
  The torrents download plugin and the fullscreen download navigation interface changes introduced in version 14 suffered from performance issues when tracking a large number of files (over 10,000), making the interface nearly unusable. To fix this, the entire logic was rewritten and tested to work smoothly with over 28,000 tracked files. Some of these optimizations also made their way into other media library plugins such as YouTube, RSS & Playlist.
  
  Enhanced
  This version includes a larger default window size, the ability to abort 'play all files in folder' type functions mid-action, enhanced support for ".m3u8" playlists, more visualization options, a notification when closing Zoom Player takes a bit longer, smoother transition between fullscreen and windowed mode for the media library and many small bugs were squashed (full change list).

  The media library category thumbnail text is now easier to read with better background contrast, You can now instruct Zoom Player to seek to key-frames for faster (less accurate) seeking, Hot Mouse tracking and click logic on the main fullscreen navigation interface was changed to be more consistent with other interfaces.
  
  * Windows 10 Creators Edition
  In Windows 10 Creators Edition, Microsoft changed large fonts anti-aliasing (reduces font blockiness) to the higher-quality ClearType Algorithm. As a result, drawing each line of text took 10 times longer and compounded in real life usage to x50-x100 slower screen updates.
  
  As a work around, a new setting (Adv. Options / Fullscreen Navigation / Customization - Anti-Aliasing) has been introduced to control the anti-aliasing mode used when drawing navigation text. The new setting has the side-benefit of even faster screen updates on lower end PCs by disabling Anti-Aliasing entirely.

  Since Zoom Player version 11 was released nearly two months ago, we invested most of the time in enhancing usability, improving stability, fixing bugs and optimizing the code to squeeze out more performance.
  
  But of course, this would not be Zoom Player if the new version did not include some cool new features!
  
  The biggest feature in version 11.1 is the long requested support for Direct3D Pixel Shaders scripts when using MadVR as the video renderer.
  Pixel Shaders are image processing scripts that are applied in real-time using GPU (display card) processing power.
  You can now create your own pixel shader presets and switch between presets in real time using keyboard macros or through the options dialog.
  
  If you are using a remote control device, you can now use the Play and Stop functions within the fullscreen navigation interfaces to start playback (bypassing the mini-menu in media library thumbview mode) and close the navigation interface.
  
  I also took the time to update the Event Ghost PC System Automation tool Zoom Player plugin to include all the new functionality introduced in recent versions of Zoom Player all the way up to version 11.1. I can personally recommend Event Ghost, I use it myself to interface a remote control with Zoom Player.

  YouTube
  Love YouTube? If you answered YES, you would surely love the media library's new and direct access any of your favorite YouTube channels. On top of that, Global and Country-specific YouTube Trending videos in a variety of subjects and up to date YouTube Search results on any subject are just as easily accessible.
  
  Playing YouTube content using DirectShow in Zoom Player was possible for a while now. However, Zoom Player 13 introduces YouTube's official IFRAME web based player (optional, can be disabled in the options dialog to restore DirectShow playback with its advanced hardware decoding and post-processing capabilities).
  
  Music
  By connecting with the very cool TheMusicDB.com, Zoom Player 13 can automatically scrape Art and Meta-Data (description, release date and more) for Albums and individual audio Tracks. Even without the use of an online database, the internal audio scraper has been enhanced to extract existing meta-data from each audio track, ensuring all available audio file information is clearly displayed.
  
  Subtitles
  Downloading subtitles in your preferred language(s) is now a piece of cake. By integrating with the very popular OpenSubtitles.org website, Zoom Player 13 can download the correct subtitle file for your media by matching the media file's hash (unique ID) with OpenSubtitles.org's database.
  
  RSS
  Do you like to listen to podcasts and other content distributed through RSS feeds? In version 13, you can easily integrate RSS feeds directly into the media library for easy streaming and staying up to date on all the latest in podcasting.
  
  Streaming
  Streaming has been enhanced on every level with improved reliability, new fine-tuning customization features and user experience shortcuts to play streams quickly.
  
  Plugins
  Many of the features discussed above are only possible due to the new plugin interfaces introduced throughout Zoom Player. This includes Media source plugins (YouTube/RSS), Subtitle download plugins ( OpenSubtitles.org ), Scraping plugins ( TheAudioDB.com / TheMovieDB.org ).
  
  All these plugins are released as open-source https://github.com/bLightZP?tab=repositories with the code to be used as a sample for 3rd party developers looking to extend Zoom Player with new access to content.
  
  What else has changed
